About
About Annalist
Annalist publishes the financial statements, ratios and findings of listed companies from their official filings. Each figure names the document it came from, and each document is kept unchanged under its hash. Each new report produces a snapshot with an identifier of its own, so that a figure cited today can be found again in the same form.
Annalist is built so that an analyst, or an AI, can cite its figures. A fixed pipeline collects the filings, compares the figures with other official figures before publication, and withholds a value that contradicts the definition of its item. Fixed rules write the findings from those figures, so a model that quotes a finding quotes the filing behind it. The Method page describes the sources, the checks, the ratios and the rules of the findings. The Data Quality page counts, company by company, the values that the checks prove. Errors of Annalist in published figures are listed with their corrections on the Method page.
The data is available on the pages, as Excel workbooks and JSON files, and through a server for AI agents, as the For AI agents page describes. The Terms of Use state how the data may be used and cited.
